Just a quick post on the remaining VLN dates for 2012. VLN is the Nurburgring racing championship that offers fans an opportunity to get right up close to full speed endurance racing at no cost. Here’s the PR blurb and, for once, all is as it says.
With a total of ten races, the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring is a true evergreen for teams and drivers at the Nürburgring. Try it and you get infected with the VLN-fever!
Being fan-friendly represents a top priority for the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring. Therefore, the entrance is free all around the Nordschleife. Only those who want to witness the race action from the Grand Prix circuit’s grandstands and visit the paddock will have to pay €15. The reward is motor racing at your fingertips, as the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring offers the spectators the chance of witnessing the work of the teams during both the practice sessions and the race at close range.
I’ve got to go back to the Ring this year, get in the woods and explore the place. Might not be until September but it will happen. I’ve scoped out some sensibly-priced B&Bs, so the mountain bike will get strapped to the Subaru and off we go! Anyone keen to hook up out there is more than welcome to get in touch: email@example.com.
