Despite some ups and downs for Instagram’s publicity in the last few weeks, I’m still in love with the mobile photography platform. Our Cult of Porsche Instagram feed ticks along, bringing new friends to Ferdinand (now 2400+ followers) and turning up more photographers whose work I enjoy.
This is my latest photo addition: a 917-917-908-917 Porsche train at speed, shot from the bottom of the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca during Rennsport Reunion IV, in October 2011.
That weekend was my first time saying hello to the great crew from Gunnar Racing, and my first time watching US Porsche hero Jeff Zwart race his 906. Both have replied to the pic: like-minded photo fans also into Porsche is the main reason I enjoy Instagram so much.
