Note that the competition mentioned here is now closed – thanks to all who took part!
Here’s a little video of the Falken Motorsports Porsche, warming up in the paddock for a pre-race systems check at the 2012 Nürburgring 24-Hour.
I shot in on my iPhone so it’s nothing to write home about, but I do like the bad-ass exhaust note of this racing Porsche motor. I also nearly choked to death on exhaust fumes: proof that health and safety is a British conceit. Germany thrives on casual danger!
Now: a competition! I’ve got five copies of the 2011 Falken Nürburgring 24 DVD to give away to the first five people who answer the following question correctly in the comments of this Falken Porsche video on the Cult of Porsche Youtube channel.
Falken’s Wolf Henzler is a Porsche works driver, famous for years of success in racing 911s. While in Supercup, Wolf set the record for the most number of wins in a season: a record that still stands today.
The question is: how many victories out of how many Supercup races did Wolf win that year? Either you know or you don’t! Add the answer to the Youtube comments on this Falken Porsche video.
Bear in mind these are Euro DVDs, so anyone outside Region 2 would be better off waiting for our next Falken Porsche competition. There will be one!
Add yourself to the Ferdinand Porsche mailing list to be in with a shot at our next free Porsche print, and stand by for a Falken prize that will work no matter where you are. Thanks to Falken Motorsport for the prizes!
